# Pay for hosting

Every miow site is free for its first 14 days, with no card. After that its hosting is paid by card once a month, at the price for the number of visitors it had over the last 30 days.

| Tier | Visitors a month | Price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Small | Up to 2,000 | £15 a month |
| Growing | Up to 20,000 | £20 a month |
| Busy | Over 20,000 | £25 a month |

Every tier has every feature; see [Pricing](https://miow.me/pricing).

## How do I pay?

Open Settings, then Money, and press Pay for hosting. Paying before the free days end takes nothing until they do. The tier is set again from the last 30 days' visitors before each payment.

## Where are my invoices?

Each month Stripe emails an invoice from Miow Ltd and a receipt, and both are kept under Manage payment, which also changes the card. A business outside the UK that gives its VAT number when it first pays is charged no VAT.

## What happens if a payment fails?

Stripe tries again and emails you. A site whose free days end unpaid pauses at once, and one whose payments stop pauses a fortnight after Stripe gives up. Visitors to a paused site see a notice, nothing in it is lost, and paying puts it back at once.
