# Take payments with Stripe

A miow site takes card payments through its own account at Stripe, the payments company that takes the cards and pays the money into your bank. The money goes to that account, Stripe takes its usual fee, and miow takes nothing.

1. Open Settings, then Money, and press Connect Stripe.
2. On Stripe, sign in if you already use it, or make an account. Stripe asks about the business and for the bank account to pay the money into.
3. Stripe sends you back, and Money says Ready once Stripe has checked the details.

If Stripe needs more, Money says so and offers Finish setting up Stripe.

## Where are my orders and refunds?

In Stripe, which Money links to once it is Ready. Orders, gifts, receipts and refunds are all kept there.

## How do I change the bank account?

Sign in to Stripe and open Settings, then Payouts. Nothing changes on miow.

## Can I use a different Stripe account?

Press Use a different Stripe account under Money. Buy and donate buttons are hidden until another account is connected and ready, and payments already made stay in the old one.
