# Build a site from a description

miow writes a site's pages from a description of the business. You give it in the Ask miow panel beside the draft on miow.me's home page, and miow builds the site and opens it, ready to change.

1. On [miow.me](https://miow.me), open Ask miow beside the draft.
2. In "Describe your business, or paste the address of the website you have now", write what you do, where, when you are open and how customers reach you.
3. Fill in Business name.
4. Press Build my site. Signed out, the button reads Save a passkey and start, and saves your passkey first.

The owner page shows "Building from your description…" while miow works, which takes from one minute to several. You can leave and come back; the pages are drawn as soon as they are done.

## What should the description include?

Everything you want on the site, in your own words: what you sell or offer and the prices, the address and opening hours, a phone number or email address, and what customers usually ask. miow is told to use only what you give it, so it leaves out prices, hours and reviews it was not given, and a short description makes a short site.

## Can I change it afterwards in plain words?

Yes. The ask bar under the page on the owner page takes changes the same way; see [Ask for a change in plain words](/docs/edit/ask-for-a-change).
