# Write a wiki

A wiki on miow is a site whose pages sit in categories, each page with a history of every save. It starts from the Wiki tab on miow.me's home page, a care guide to houseplants to change into your own.

## How do I add a page?

Open Pages beside the page, open a category, and press Add a page. The new page goes in the category open on the canvas, chosen under Category. Give it a title, write it, and press Create the page.

## How do I change a page?

Open it from Pages and type. This page, beside it, holds its address, its search snippet and the facts its category asks for, and Delete page, which deletes it with its whole history.

## How do I see a page's history?

History, beside the page, lists its versions with what each changed. Restore puts the page back as a version had it, as a new version of its own, so nothing is lost.

## Which pages need work?

Needs work lists pages not changed in 180 days, pages no other page links to, pages that cite no sources, and pages missing facts their category asks for.

## How do I change the categories?

The owner page does not change them yet. An AI agent with a key to the site changes the whole tree with set_wiki; see [Give an agent access to a site](/docs/agents/give-an-agent-access).

## What else does a wiki do?

Its sidebar holds the search box, the categories and a page's sections, and a link to another page shows a preview of it on hover. Every wiki also serves an MCP server of its own at /mcp, which any agent can read and search without a key, and its changes as a feed at /feed.xml.
