Terms

These terms are the agreement between Miow Ltd and anyone who owns a site on miow.me. They were last changed on 20 October 2026.

Who we are

Miow Ltd runs miow.me. It is a company registered in England and Wales, number 17524444, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. Write to hello@miow.me about anything in these terms. In these terms, "we" means Miow Ltd and "you" means a site's owner.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you publish a site, or when you claim a site through an invite link. You must be 18 or over. If you use miow for a business, you accept them for that business too. Some sections apply differently to a consumer, someone using miow wholly or mainly outside their trade or business, and those sections say so. Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal data.

Your account

You sign in with a passkey that your phone or computer keeps. Keep your devices secure: anyone who can unlock one with your passkey can change your sites.

Every owner of a site can change it, invite more owners, and remove any owner but the last. You are responsible for the people you make owners. If you lose every passkey, another owner of your sites can send you a link back in.

Sites made by AI agents

An AI agent can make a site through miow.me/mcp without an owner. The agent gets a key that works on that site alone, and a link to claim it. A site nobody claims is deleted 7 days after it is made. Whoever claims a site accepts these terms for it. The person or business that runs an agent is responsible for what the agent does with its key.

Your content

What you put on your site stays yours. You let Miow Ltd store, copy, adapt and show it only as far as running your site needs: serving it to visitors, search engines and AI assistants, laying it out on phones and computers, and keeping backups and its history of changes. This permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies in the site's history, which go after 365 days. We do not train AI models on your content, and we do not show your site in our marketing without asking you.

You confirm that you have the right to publish everything you put on your site. When you move a site in from another address, you confirm that the site is yours or that you have permission to copy it.

Writing with AI

miow can write and change your pages from what you tell it, and lay out pages it moves in from another site. What it writes can be wrong or incomplete, so read it before you publish: you are responsible for what your site says. As far as the law allows, you own what it writes for you.

What you may not do

You may not use miow, or let an agent use it, to:

  • publish anything illegal, including content that sexually exploits children, incites violence or terrorism, or is defamatory;
  • infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
  • deceive people, including phishing, impersonating someone, or selling things you cannot supply;
  • harass, threaten or publish private information about someone without their permission;
  • spread malware, or send spam through a site's forms;
  • sell anything Stripe does not allow, or anything illegal where you sell it;
  • collect visitors' personal data without telling them what you do with it;
  • overload, probe or get round miow's limits and security, including by making sites in bulk.

Reporting a site

Write to hello@miow.me with the address of the page and why it breaks the law or these terms. We look at every report, remove or disable illegal content once we know of it, and tell the site's owners what we did and why, so they can reply.

Visitors' data on your site

Your site may collect personal data from its visitors: messages from its contact form, comments, and the stats miow keeps without cookies. You are the controller of that data, so you must tell your visitors what you collect and why, usually in a privacy page on your site. Our privacy policy describes what miow collects on your site, so you can say the same.

Miow Ltd processes that data for you, and agrees to:

  • use it only to run your site, on the instructions you give through miow, and tell you if we think an instruction breaks the law;
  • keep it confidential, and let only people bound to confidentiality handle it;
  • keep it secure, with the measures in our privacy policy;
  • use only the companies listed in our privacy policy to handle it, hold them to the same duties, and stay responsible for them. We list any new one there before it handles your data, and if you object you may close your site;
  • help you answer people who ask to see, correct or delete their data, and help with any assessment the law asks of you;
  • tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it;
  • delete it when you delete it, or delete the site;
  • give you the information you need to show that these duties are kept.

The data is the name, email address, message, comment, country, device and pages viewed of your site's visitors, kept for as long as our privacy policy says.

Paying for hosting

A site is free for 14 days after it is made, with no card. After that it costs a monthly price set by how many people visited it in the last 30 days, shown on the pricing page. One person counts once a day; search engines and AI agents are not counted. Before each monthly payment, the price moves to the tier that matches the last 30 days. Prices include any VAT.

You pay through Stripe from the site's Settings, under Paying for hosting. Paying during the free days charges nothing until they end.

If the free days end unpaid, the site pauses: visitors see a notice instead of its pages, and nothing is deleted. Paying brings it back at once. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again; if Stripe stops trying, the site pauses 14 days later.

If we change the prices, we show the new ones on the pricing page at least 30 days before they apply, and you may cancel before then.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the site's Settings, under Manage payment. Hosting continues until the end of the month you have paid for, and then the site pauses. We do not refund part of a month.

If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of your first payment for a site and have that payment back in full: write to hello@miow.me.

Delete removes a site and everything on it at once, and cannot be undone. Download the site first if you want a copy. Deleting a site also ends its payment at once, and we do not refund the rest of the month.

Selling on your site

A site sells through its own Stripe account, which you connect in Settings. You are the seller: Miow Ltd is not part of any sale and takes nothing from it. Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Services Agreement apply to your account. You are responsible for what you sell and for the duties the law gives a seller, including describing things accurately, delivering them, refunds and returns, and tax.

Domains

miow does not sell domains. You keep a domain with the company you registered it with, and keep paying them for it. Once you prove you control a domain, your site moves to it and its miow.me address sends visitors there.

Pausing and closing sites

We may pause or remove a site, or close an account, if it breaks these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect visitors, other owners or miow. We tell the owners why, unless the law stops us, and give notice first unless the harm is urgent. If we close miow, or close your site through no fault of yours, we give you at least 30 days' notice, time to download it, and a refund of any payment for time after it closes.

Changes to miow

We work to keep miow running and your site online, but cannot promise it will never be down. We may change what miow does; if a change removes something your site relies on, we tell you before it happens.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was foreseeable when you accepted these terms and that we caused by breaking them or by failing to use reasonable care and skill. These terms do not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not responsible for business losses.

If you use miow for a business, we are not responsible for lost profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect loss, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the greater of £100 and what you paid us in those 12 months. You will compensate Miow Ltd for claims by other people about your content or your sales.

Changes to these terms

We post changes here and give the date at the top. A change that reduces your rights applies 30 days after we post it, and you may cancel before then.

Law and disputes

The law of England and Wales governs these terms, and its courts decide disputes about them. A consumer who lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also go to the courts there, and a consumer elsewhere keeps the protections of the law where they live. Write to hello@miow.me first, and we will try to settle it.

The rest

These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and Miow Ltd about miow. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over miow, and you keep the same rights. Nobody else can enforce these terms.
